Meshale — Account and Data Deletion
Request deletion of your Meshale account
You can delete your account directly in the Meshale app. If you cannot access the app or have already uninstalled it, you can request account deletion by email.
How to submit a request
Send an email from the email address associated with your Meshale account to meshale.dev@gmail.com. Use the subject line “Meshale Account Deletion Request”. Please state that you would like your Meshale account and associated personal data to be deleted. Do not include your password. We may contact you to verify account ownership before processing your request.
What data will be deleted?
Your Meshale account, full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, site or apartment membership, profile connections, service requests, messages, uploaded files, location data, and user-related usage or transaction history will be deleted. Maintenance fee, payment, and accounting records are also included in the deletion request, subject only to any applicable legal retention obligation. Support requests and security records are included as well, unless a legitimate and disclosed retention reason applies.
What data will be retained?
Meshale does not apply a general retention exemption. However, limited records may be retained where necessary to meet an applicable legal obligation, including required maintenance-fee, payment, or accounting records. Limited support or security records may also be retained when there is a legitimate, stated reason to do so. Any retained information will be kept only for the period required by the applicable obligation or retention purpose.
Processing time
We will complete your account deletion request within 14 days after verifying account ownership. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
